Mr. Horowitz’s connection with daredevil sports began when he became the manufacturer of Evel Knievel toys. Evel Knievel began his own motorcycle daredevil show in 1965, and by the 1970s, Evel Knievel’s name had become one of the most recognized in the United States of America. The ABC Wide World of Sports coverage of Evel Knievel’s canyon jump is still the most highly rated sports event of all time. During the years of doing business together, Evel and Jay became close friends, and Evel introduced Jay to his family and the world of motorcycle daredevils.

Struck with the spectacular nature of motorcycle daredevil shows, and being familiar with China, Jay began to imagine how wonderful such a presentation would be in China. Jay had known the world’s female motorcycle long jump record holder, Debbie Lawler, and they formed a partnership that is currently focused on bringing the best of the wheeled sport daredevils to China. With Debbie’s decades of experience in every aspect of the motorcycle show business and Jay’s four decades of general business experience, including 25 years of doing business in China, they are uniquely qualified and passionate about presenting The Most Spectacular Show in the World™ in China.

Mr. Horowitz and Ms. Lawler are convinced that The Great American Daredevil Show™ (GADS) would be a smash hit in China and around the world. The booming Chinese economy is demanding quality sports entertainment. There is a burning proclivity for fashionable trends and products. Currently, American styles, trends, fashions, name brands, and especially sports, have become desirable to the Chinese consumer.

The Beijing Olympics has paved the way for The Great American Daredevils Show™. The physical stadium in Beijing was built to accommodate an audience of 90,000 spectators.
